Annual Tribute Subscription

Our Annual Tribute Subscription was an idea that came from one of our earliest owners. She told us that the anniversary of her daughter's death was the hardest day, every year, and that she dreaded the post arriving with nothing in it. So we made this.

Each year, on the date you choose, a small keepsake arrives with a printed mini-book of the memorial as it stood that year. The keepsake rotates: one year a brass pocket coin, another a pressed-flower archival card, another a small river-stone, another a hand-printed letterpress booklet. Each is small enough to hold in one hand, and each is designed to be kept.

The mini-book is hand-printed in a small letterpress workshop in Yorkshire on archival cotton paper. It contains the year's memorial entries ??? every photograph added, every story written, every voice note transcribed ??? printed and bound by hand. Over the years you build up a row of these small books on a shelf, a printed library of someone's remembered life.

Pause it any time. Cancel any time. Change the anniversary date any time, no questions. Some owners give this as a gift to a parent or sibling who finds the date hardest. Many tell us, the year after the first one arrives, that they have started watching the post.
